TXDOT NEEDS YOUR INPUT TO IMPROVE THE MY35 TRAVELER INFORMATION SYSTEM

Once again, TxDOT would like your input on how we can improve the My35 Traveler Information System, which has kept travelers in the Waco District informed with alerts delivered via various media. Knowing more about road conditions and potential alternative routes can help drivers travel more safely and reliably to their destinations while construction is ongoing. | Read More

TXDOT CREATES SAFE PHONE ZONES—TAKE A BREAK BEFORE YOU TEXT

Texting while driving will be illegal statewide beginning Friday, Sept. 1, 2017. To help drivers make the adjustment to not texting while driving, we want to remind Texas drivers that TxDOT has created Safe Phone Zones at each of its 55 Safety Rest Areas and 12 Travel Information Centers throughout the state. We welcome drivers to begin using these locations for safe cellphone use to form good habits now, before the law goes into effect. | Read More
